The problem

Heritage handloom fabric brands rarely have digital experiences that match their craft: catalogs are flat, product photography inconsistent, and the story of the weave — critical to premium pricing — gets lost.

What we built

Built a luxury editorial storefront where narrative and commerce reinforce each other: collection edits with real editorial imagery, product pages with fabric context, hover-swap product cards, quick view, and dedicated pages for the fabric story, custom stitching and physical stores.

The system

Cafedoria repositions Kota Doria — the gossamer handwoven fabric of Kota — as contemporary fashion. We engineered a luxury-grade e-commerce experience: full-bleed editorial hero, new-arrivals grid with hover image swaps, curated collection edits (The Kota Edit, Summer Lights, Everyday Kota, The Festive Edit), a fabric-story section, quick-view product cards, custom stitching and store-locator pages — all wrapped in restrained typography and architectural imagery.
